PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE: PROPOSED ORDINANCES 2023-09 & -12
The Village of Elk Rapids Village Council will hold two public hearings at their regular meeting on Tuesday December 5, 2023, at the Governmental Center, 315 Bridge Street, at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the public hearings is to consider and receive community input on:
Proposed Ordinance 2023-09: Libraries in Industrial District – Amendment to §44-38 (Zoning District Intent) & §44-75 (District Tables of Permitted Use) of the Code of Ordinances.
Proposed Ordinance 2023-12: Violations and Penalties for Unregistered Short-Term Rentals – Amendment to §8-66 (Violations and Penalties) of the Code of Ordinances.
The proposed ordinances can be found on the Village’s website, elkrapids.org in the Document Center or copies can be viewed during normal business hours at the Government Center.
