EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: DPW SUPERINTENDENT

The Village of Elk Rapids is seeking a qualified, energetic DPW Superintendent – salary $70,000 – $80,000 DOQ, plus exceptional benefits including excellent health care, dental and vision, 14 paid holidays, vacation, MERS retirement. This department head is responsible for 10 employees and the following services: water, wastewater, waste collection, streets, and parks. Reports directly to the Village Manager.  Demonstrated record of high-quality customer service is critical. The successful candidate will have demonstrated budgeting and organizational skills, strong verbal and written communications skills, and the interpersonal skills to work effectively with individuals and organizations throughout the community.
