Village Board of Trustees—Applications Sought

The Village of Elk Rapids Board of Trustees has a vacancy. The successful candidate will fill the term until the November 8, 2022 election. This is an excellent chance to see if public office is for you! Must be village resident and registered to vote with your corresponding village address of residence to apply (see application for more details). Please send application with resume to kszczypka@elkrapids.org no later than 12:00 noon on Wednesday June 29, 2022. Council will consider applications at the July 5, 2022 regular meeting and will make a decision to fill the vacancy at the July 18, 2022 regular meeting. Applicants will make a five-minute statement on why they are qualified for the position at the regular council meeting on July 18, 2022, at 7 p.m. at the Governmental Center, 315 Bridge Street.
