The Village Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the Village. The Treasurer has custody of all money, bonds, mortgages, notes, leases, and evidences of value belonging to the Village. The Treasurer also receives all money belonging to, and receivable by the Village and keeps accounts of all receipts and expenditures. The duties and responsibilities of the Village Treasurer are described in detail in the Village of Elk Rapids Code of Ordinances.

Kristine Davis started as the Treasurer of Elk Rapids in November 2021. She has a degree in business administration and finance from the University of Tennessee. Kristine is excited to serve the citizens of Elk Rapids and help manage the municipal finances of our community.
