The Village of Elk Rapids would like to remind community members that as the snow piles up, keep these points in mind:

• Please remove vehicles and other obstacles from streets, the right-of-way, and alleyways so the DPW can safely plow in the mornings.
• It is against Michigan Law to pile or deposit snow in a manner that obstructs vision.
• Do not create hazardous conditions by piling snow at the ends of driveways.
• Do not push snow from a driveway across the road.
• Keep sidewalks in the Village clear.
