The Village of Elk Rapids currently has a vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Commission. This commission recommends infrastructure changes and recreation opportunities to the village council, creates and implements a five-year community recreation plan, promotes parks and recreational opportunities, budgets for parks & recreational activities, and more. Those interested in serving their community on this board can reside within the village or be a member at large with the current member structure of the commission. Applications are available on the document center on www.elkrapids.org or at the Government Center. Completed applications should be submitted to kszczypka@elkrapids.org. Applications to fill this seat are due Wednesday August 31, 2022 for Village Council consideration and appointment at the September 6, 2022 regular meeting.
