The Village of Elk Rapids Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on May 19, 2022, at 7:00 PM, at the Governmental Center, 315 Bridge St.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to receive citizen input either pro or con and consider the two following requests:
- Owner Mary Halek, who lives in zone R-2, Residential, has a request for approval to allow a front yard variance. The property is Parcel #05-43-100-020-00, also known as 213 Charles St. The request is regarding Zoning Code 512, Accessory Structure Setback Requirements, 514 Corner or Multiple Street Frontage Lots and 535, R-2 Minimum Front Yard Setback.
- Owner Tom Hatch, who lives in zone R-3, Residential, has a request for approval to allow a backyard variance concerning setbacks from lakes, rivers, and streams. The property is Parcel #05-43-325-024-99, also known as 875 Millers Park. The request is regarding Zoning Code 515 Setbacks from Lakes, Rivers, and Streams.
