The Village of Elk Rapids Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on January 20, 2022, at 7:00 PM, at the Governmental Center, 315 Bridge St., Elk Rapids, MI 49629.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to receive citizen input and consider the following request:
- 05-43-010-225-000, also known as 409 Cedar St is requesting a variance for a lot split. Scott, Betty and Ronald Ditchie are the owners of the parcel and are requesting the variance. They would like to split lots 252 and 253 (which are currently combined) so that another house can be built on lot 252. The lot size as it is combined, is currently 122.68’ wide and 143.13’ long. They would like to split the lots to be 66.88’ and 55.80’ wide. Lot 252, at 55.80’ is smaller than the required lot width of 65’ for the R-2 Single Family Residential District.
