VILLAGE OF ELK RAPIDS – ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Village of Elk Rapids Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a Public Hearing on June 16, 2022, at 7:00 PM, at the Governmental Center, 315 Bridge St.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to receive citizen input either pro or con and consider the two following requests:
- 05-43-250-019-10, also known as 112 Dexter St:
- Elk Lake Inn, LLC is requesting a variance from 474 in the Village of Elk Rapids Zoning Code. The subsection only allows for 20 units for an Inn but has a height maximum of 35’ and a minimum requirement of 250 ft per unit. The applicant is requesting the ability to include more rooms to provide more overnight choices, to provide more use of the building and to provide a fiscally responsible nightly rate to those who visit.
