GREEN INTENTIONS: ONE COMMUNITY PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

Green Elk Rapids will be featured at the Dennos Museum in Traverse City from April 15, 2022 — September 25, 2022. This exhibit highlights activities by the Green Elk Rapids Committee since their inception in 2009. With a mission to raise awareness and appreciation for environmental issues and the natural environment, the volunteer group works to engage the community through a variety of educational experiences to make an impact at the local level and beyond. Their intentions are to encourage individuals and other communities to actively green their game.

The Elk Rapids community is invited to an Exhibition Reception on Saturday, April 23 — 3:00 PM. Join us for an afternoon reception to celebrate Green Intentions: One Community Promoting Environmental Awareness exhibition. RSVPs are not required, but encouraged for this free event.
