1. Will the grant reimburse me for façade expenses from recent summer updates to my building?

Nearly all grant programs will only cover expenses after date of award, which is the same for DDA Façade funding.

2. Façade Example from the application – “If the project costs are $10,000 in total, the applicant will spend $5,000 and the DDA will reimburse the applicant $5,000 when the work is complete and all paid invoices are submitted before or by the due date yearly.”

Said another way, the applicant will spend $10,000 and $5,000 will be reimbursed by the DDA. In both cases, the cost of the project is initially borne by the applicant and the DDA reimbursing half of actual expenses.
